Career Goal and Career Plan
My career plan is to become a song writer and perform on the stage with my band mates. Because I love listening music especially rock music like AC/DC or Guns and Roses. When I was a kid, I heard a lot of songs from movies, video games and so on. Until I was junior secondary student, I bought my first electric guitar. I have played an electric guitar about 8 years, I can play different songs, I have formed a rock band and we started to write our own music. I am a hard-working person, during those years, I keep training and learning different techniques to improve my skills. Hopefully to become a famous musician just like those famous guitar players. Right now, our band had written 3 songs and we started mixing our songs and making a cover page in different social media. Once we finished, we start to promote our songs to different social media and upload on internet like YouTube, Spotify and so on, to try to get more attention.
Performing as a reflective lifelong learner
Unfortunately, I did not do any part time jobs related to music. But I was a part time waiter even now. Working as a waiter I need to face a lot of challenges like I have to be a patient person and I need to communicate with customers and other waiters. However, if I working any jobs related to music like sound designer, music producer and so on, I also need to communicate with my teammates and customers, even my band mates as well. In this case, I can train my communication skill so that I can have a good conversation to talk about our plans and works with my partner during the project. Also, I can build a leadership more easier to lead my band mates to write our songs.
Performing as a self-directed lifelong learner
I want to be a music producer and perform on stage with my band mates. The reason why I want to perform on stage is that I want to become a famous musician like other famous rock band like AC/DC lead guitarist Angus Young. He's also a reason I keep playing electric guitar. When I saw him performing on stage , I can feel the passion of him playing rock music, and I can see and hear lots of audiences cheerful sound, that's exactly what I want. During those years, I keep practicing and learning different techniques to improve my skills. Right now, I have formed my own rock band and I'm so proud to become a lead guitarist in my band. To get more attention of my band, we will start making our songs cover page to attract audience to click and watch it. Then after we finish mixing our songs, we start to promote our song to social media like Youtube, Instagram and so on, hopefully can get more attention.
